Video Conferencing

What is the group videoconferencing service?

With external funding support and working as partners, the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing and LORL have purchased and installed highquality group video conferencing equipment. The equipment is available in the Harrisburg Office of the Sentencing Commission at 408 Forum Building. The Sentencing Commission facility can accommodate 12 video conference participants.

Who can use the service and how much does it cost?

The equipment is available at no charge to all members and staff of the General Assembly as well as Commissioners of the Sentencing Commission and personnel from member institutions in the LORL Academic Network.

Can the equipment be used in my conference room?

The portable equipment can be used anywhere in the Capitol Complex where appropriate ISDN lines have been installed.

How do I sign up?

Contact the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing 717-772-4122 or LORL 717-787-8948 to schedule a videoconference. Reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Videoconferences not located in the PCS conference room will require appropriate ISDN lines. A 27" television monitor will be provided for off-site conferences if requested.
