Act 3 of 2008 (PDF) establishes 19 types of legislative records which are available to the public. The types of legislative records available under the Right-to-Know Law are spelled out in Section 102 of the Act 3, in the definition of "legislative record."

Of these, three types of legislative records apply to the Legislative Office for Research Liaison (LORL). They are:

  1. A financial record.
  1. Minutes of and records of attendance of members of the LORL and all recorded votes taken in a public LORL meeting.
  1. An administrative staff manual or written policies of LORL.

If you would like to make an official request for legislative records from the LORL, your request should be in writing (postal mail, fax, or email). A sample request form (PDF) is available.

All requests should include sufficient detail to allow the Open Records Officer to locate the information requested, and should include the requester's contact information. Requests should be sent to the LORL Open Records Officer:
